 Legal Tech Challenges

The legal sector faces pressing challenges – and technology could be part of the solution. At AI Lawcraft 2025, teams can bring their own ideas, or tackle one of the urgent problem areas shaping law today.

Example problem areas

  • Access to justice: Legal systems are too complex, can AI make them more accessible?
  • Contract complexity:  From dense legalese to endless fine print, can AI make contracts easier to draft, review, and understand?
  • Efficiency in courts: From drafting judgments to handling case files, the system is slow, can technology speed it up without compromising fairness?
  • Compliance overload: Laws and regulations are multiplying, how can AI help lawyers and companies keep up?
  • Equal treatment: Biases in sentencing, asylum decisions, or access to legal aid persist – can technology help identify and reduce inequality in the justice system?
